James heads up the Aztec Group’s business development team across all core services and major asset classes, working alongside the Group’s board, executive and product development committees. He played an instrumental role in expanding the Group’s reach into the infrastructure market, working with its first administration and depositary mandates, and is the first point of contact for many current and prospective clients. James also heads up Aztec’s London office and has overall responsibility for general management and operational matters.

Based in Guernsey, Matt Horton leads Aztec Groups private equity offering and has Group-wide oversight of the delivery of fund services to our private equity and venture capital clients, from global institutions to mid-market managers and start-ups. He has overall responsibility for private equity client relationship management, operations and business development activity.
A member of the Group’s Executive Committee, Matt plays a key role in shaping and delivering the Group strategy.

Sam Wilson is a corporate partner in Fried Frank's Asset Management Practice, resident in the London office.
He has extensive experience representing private investment fund managers, sponsors, financial institutions and investors in relation to the establishment and operation of a wide range of private investment funds, platforms and managed accounts, including private equity, credit, infrastructure, growth, venture and real estate. He also advises clients on co-investment structuring, sponsor incentives, GP-led secondaries, fund financing arrangements and other complex corporate transactions.

James joined Campbell Lutyens in 2010 and is a member of the fund placement team with a focus on project management and execution.
Prior to joining Campbell Lutyens, he worked in the Energy, Infrastructure & Utilities division at Deloitte. James is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds an MA from the University of Oxford.
