India this year witnessed the highest volume of IPOs and VC investments in a decade. About USD 9.13bn has been raised from 39 IPOs so far in 2021, already surpassing full year 2020 when 18 listings raised around USD 7.54bn, according to Dealogic data. It is proving to be a banner year for the IPO market, with total listings already surpassing 2017's total 36 listings - the previous best in India.
