Lucas is a Director in Scotiabank’s Latin America Investment Banking group, responsible for client coverage and transaction execution in Peru and Central America. During the past 10 years he has executed a variety of M&A, IPO, strategic advisory and capital markets financings for corporate and financial sponsors across the Americas, with a combined value over US$10bn. Prior to joining Scotiabank, Lucas worked at Citi’s Latin America Investment Banking team.
Lucas holds an MBA with high distinction from the University of Michigan: Ross School of Business and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal da Bahia in Brazil.

Andrés Nieto is a key partner at Creel Abogados, S.C. (Mexico City) where he specializes in Banking and Finance Law, Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity, and Commercial Arbitration.
For more than 20 years, Andrés has developed an extensive professional practice that has allowed him to consolidate a leadership position in the Mexican transactional market, representing business groups, financial institutions and private equity funds in transactions related to mergers and acquisitions, private equity corporate financing, including secured financing and syndicated lending, reorganizations, restructurings and work-outs, regulatory compliance (particularly anti-money laundering), as well as representing issuers and investment banks in a broad range of public and private transactions, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings and cross-border securities offerings. Recently, Mr. Nieto has been recognized as one of the leading attorneys in the Banking and Finance, M&A and FinTech Law sector in Mexico.
Mr. Nieto actively promotes pro bono, as well as diversity and inclusion initiatives. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Centro Mexicano Pro Bono, A.C., chair of the Legal Committee of the ICC Mexico Banking Commission and Vice-chair of the Mexico Committee of the American Bar Association Section of International Law.
Mr. Nieto graduated from Escuela Libre de Derecho (J.D. equivalent) cum laude, and obtained an LL.M. degree from Columbia Law School in New York. He worked as foreign attorney at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.
Mr. Nieto is and adjunct professor of Capital Markets Law at the Universidad Panamericana and an active member of the Mexican Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the International Bar Association.
Daniel Dávila se unió al equipo de Datasite en 2018 con la tarea de abrir la oficina de representación local de Datasite en Colombia e impulsar el crecimiento de la operación en la Latinoamérica. Luego de dos años exitosos en los cuales Datasite se posicionó como una opción de valor para los dealmakers en Colombia, participando en los proyectos más importantes del páis, se encargó a partir de 2019 de la misma tarea en Ecuador. Desde Datasite, ha acompañado proyectos de M&A en diferentes industrias apoyando a los clientes a completar de manera exitosa sus transacciones. Recientemente se trasladó a México para continuar apoyando la posición de liderazgo que Datasite tiene allí y con el deseo de fortalecer el crecimiento del equipo en la región.
Antes de unirse al equipo de Datasite, trabajó en el sector financiero colombiano por más de 5 años enfocándose en la banca privada y el segmento preferencial de clientes con necesidades de inversión específicas. Daniel es Negociador Internacional de la Universidad EAFIT y tiene un MBA en Marketing con énfasis en Gerencia de Marca de la misma universidad.
